The Black Bull Hotel is situated in the lovely conservation village of Gartmore, in the Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park, just 2 miles from Aberfoyle. Dating from the early 1700’s, when it was used by cattle drovers and frequented by the legendary Rob Roy McGregor, the Black Bull is located amidst some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland.

Nestled in the heart of the Queen Elizabeth Forest lies Duchray Castle, a 500 year old tower house linked with Rob Roy. Now newly renovated it offers luxury accommodation and a warm welcome in a stunning, secluded location.This year (2017) we will be offering Bed and Breakfast accommodation in our Rob Roy suite only for a minimum of two weekend nights (Friday/Saturday/Sunday). We are not offering B&B on week nights this year and we open for the season in May 2017. Each of the bedrooms is unique and all the rooms have flat screen televisions, ipod docks, hairdryers and tea and coffee making facilities.
